I've been a nurse for 35 years and when I hit 50, I decided to chase my dream. It took me 2.5 years and a panic attack, but I self-published in January 2024. Two years later I have completed my first series, The Beauregard Family Series. My fifth book, Sons of Min, will be out in May 2026.
I retired from my nursing career in spring of 2026 and continue to write, publish, market, and sell my books. In my spare time I like to make jam, bake, practice and teach yoga, play with my grandchildren. I live in a small town in South Carolina with my husband and chickens.
Yes. I am living the dream I envisioned for myself when I was 16. It just took me 40 years to accomplish it.
